Hi all,

does anyone know what regs and specs are required to install a dividing fire wall between my house and the next as there is currently nothing!

I have heard that it can be timber studwork with two layers of pink (fire) plasterboard on either side?

Unfortunately I will get no help / co-operation from my neighbour as she is elderly, aggrophobic (meals on wheels 3x daily) and does not even know where her attic is.

you may qualify for a grant as its a fire risk contact your local council for further information.
