metabo or evolution

by atlanticgiant » Fri Mar 04, 2011 9:28 pm

hi

i am going to buy a mitre saw.
i have narrowed my choices down to two and i want your experiences with these saws- metabo kgs254 or the evolution rage-3 s300.
i need a saw that will cut wood accurately and with a clean cut.

Its the blade thats more important, for a fine cut you need more teeth per inch use TCT (tungsten carbide teeth). Each machine is equally capable, machines usually come witha standard ripping blade and will splinter the wood

the first thing is decide what you can afford, i have always used metabo.
they are built superbly and will last for years.
no matter what make of saw you get, throw the one away that came with the saw and get a good one i get mine from here.
