building another extension

by ring_the_alarm » Mon Mar 21, 2011 5:18 pm

Hi,
I am thinking of adding a very small extension 1 storey extension to the back of my house. I do not live in a green belt etc, or in a listed building, but my property has been extended twice since 1948. I was wondering therefore, would i be likely to get permission to do the small extension?
Please let me know; many thanks in advance.

ring_the_alarm,
Probably you will get permission. Draw a dimensioned plan of your proposal and sound out your local planning department.

Ok thanks. My house now must be 100 percent bigger than what is was in 1948 though, so i'll keep my fingers crossed.
