Get some advice from a local part p registered electrician , and also
inform local authority building control that you intend to connect up your consumer unit. LABC will notify of appropiate costs to pay them as well as the required tests needed using apprpiate test gear as recommended in bs 7671 17th ed regs , and test results filled in also in bs 7671
