painting concrete floor

by john9159 » Thu Apr 14, 2011 4:46 pm

Hi,
I need to paint my concrete garage floor but am not certain what I need.
My floor is approx 10 square metres and has some slight surface damage where concrete has gone dusty and exposed the stone aggregate to a depth of about 2mm in places.
If I need to repair the concrete so that it is level, what do I need.
Do I need a primer against the dust.
How many litres of paint do I need.

Thank you

to get the floor level ready for painting. Mix a pva solution over the entire floor, wait for it to dry and then mix a latex self leveling compound and spread it over the entire floor. This will save on the cost of the floor paint and give you a better finish.
