extra flourescent light

by cresser » Sat Jul 16, 2011 11:22 am

Hi,
I already have two flourescent lights in my garage, but I would like to add one more. Could I just run cable from one of the existing lights to the new one, or would I end up torching the house !. Any advice - apart from getting a sparky in, which is the obvious choice - would be appreciated, thanks, cresser.

The "Could I" question is always hard as we have no idea of the skill which the "I" in question possesses.

In an ideal world all supplies are fused and adding extra lamps at worst should only blow a fuse if you add too many.

So likely no problem. But it would be a brave man who would just say yes without seeing it first.
