by royc » Tue Aug 09, 2011 10:45 pm

Firstly hello all (newbie), I have a surplus socket which i need to remove, my question is how can i go about burying the connection in the wall as it will be skimmed and a fire place is to be fitted in front of it?
Thanks in advance

Simple answer is you can't.
Wires in walls are identified by the present of the socket or light switch they supply once you remove the item you must also remove the cables.
