I installed some decking around the back of our house, and in one corner we had a dripping gutter, and noticed some pretty nasty dampness appearing.
I've had the gutter fixed for a few weeks now, but the wall still seems saturated in that one corner.
Unfortunately that corner gets very little sun.
It is Scotland, and its been raining on and off for that time, but I thought it would have started to dry out now. The damp section may well be receding though, as there is a clear line dry satined area next to the saturated area, so I guess the damp may be receding.
There is a line of discoulouration on my wall, along the edge of the decking, how can I protect the wall, which is next to the decking? Is there something I could paint on to repel the water that splashes off the decking? :?:
