You have basically answered your our own question.... You need a 150mm duct and flexible is best because you can go around corners or up and under. Just make sure you check what distance the fan is able to duct. Some fans only work for 2mtrs, also make sure the duct is on a gradient towards the vent so that any moisture build up will run away from the extractor and towards the vent outside.

thanks, ive alredy got an air brick outside the house and aplastic vent inside, onthe bathroom wall....im thinking of pulling off the plastic vent from inside the wall, and using that hole to mount the new fan,and leaving the airbrick outside.............would this be ok?

I want to put the ducting on and just leave it facing the airbrick, instead of removing the airbrick or cutting a hole in it.

from the fan to the outside airbrick is 10" (inch) so a 10" long ductingis all il need. .........fans 295m3/H bathroom is 6ft x 6ft and 6ft from floor to ceiling........hopefully that should be ample.

You can get a through wall kit for your extractor fan.
If only a short distance and you are keeping the air brick then I would of suggested a ridged duct because you need to make sure the duct is hard up against the air brick.
If you have a flexi duct then leave plenty of duct on so it can spring/compress against the air brick.
That should be ok but ridged kit would be better.
Try Screwfix
