Downstairs I have Sky hooked up, coming out of the Sky box is a cable feeding into the loft.
In the loft it is split to feed into 2 of the bedrooms, but the picture is very poor quality (though the quality is excellent downstairs), when it was only one TV upstairs the picture quality was better but not as good as doenstairs.

I think I need an amplifier but have no idea what sort.

Does anyone know anything about these and if this one is any good?
Also what is Digital Bypass?

Am I on the right track or it could it be a cable issue and the amp will be a waste of time?

hi stu , you will find a splitter /amp in loft will help as signal is already being shared between down stairs & upstairs, your sky box should have 2 out puts one direct to local set and second one (which also carries D.C. power) to go to upstairs splitter/amp, these are available in any 'shed'. 1 input & upto 6 outputs, probably need power from mains to run amp,
