Getting paintstripper stains out of a uPVC front door

by presumin_ed » Thu Oct 13, 2011 6:27 pm

Some chemical paintstripper got accidentally spilled on to a brand new uPVC front door, and it is covered in orange spots and stains. I have tried the following cleaning materials along with lots of elbow grease to attempt to remove them, all to no avail:

Soap and water
Cif
Bleach
Stain devil
Toilet limescale remover
Commercially available uPVC restorer
Trainer whitener
Brillo pads
Vinegar

Does anybody have any suggestions as to how to restore the whiteness to our new front door, if there are some sort of plastic lacquers available??? Thanks
