Slow Filling Bath

by GeorgeAC » Mon Oct 17, 2011 8:52 pm

I`ve just fitted a new bath and changed the taps to a dual filler. Previously there were seperate cold and hot taps. I`m sorry to have to say that it`s taking ages to fill up and need some advice before I go about changeing the tap. It`s a gravity fed system 22m pipes feeding. Is this normal for these dual fillers?

GeorgeAC,
Chances are that you've fitted a tap intended for combi boilers, have a look at the instructions and see what minimum head is specified.
If your bathroom is upstairs you are likely to have a head of less than 0.5 bar so find some taps designed to work with this head.
