This morning I found my upstairs bathroom (which has a shower, loo and washbasin) flooded with water. Also the overflow pipe was overflowing like mad.During the mopping up operation which followed,my neighbour advised that the main wastewater/soil pipe outside the house may be blocked at the upstairs level as the shower tray(which sits about 10" off the floor) and the loo were full of water too.(My neighbour checked the manhole outside the house and it is not full. The bath, loo and washbasin downstairs all work and drain away fine).Could somebody please advise as to what I need to do i.e. is there a diy easy fix or do I need a plumber or a drain clearance expert.Thank you.
