take old render of

iam looking at taking the old render of the house clean brick work and re point
any one know what sort of money this will cost.

I would not attempt it ,It was rendered for a reason you could uncover all sorts of problems and cost you a lot more in repair.The brickwork might not match,windows could have been alterd in the past etc
If you replace the render with another finish like a pebbledash coloured spar or textured finish it will probably cost you less and look a lot better.
