Can anyone tell me how to join two dado rails - one at an angle coming down the staircase joining to another horizontal in the hall. Because of the angle of the staircase dado, the edge is longer than the horizontal edge so they do not join. Thx

Hi, Draw a horizontal line on the hall wall and a angle line on the staircase wall at the height the dado is to be fitted. Place a piece of dado on the horizontal line and draw a line on the other edge and do the same on the angle line. Where the horizontal and angle lines meet this will give you the angle of the cuts you need.
