Hi, can anyone help with this ?
I have got a house made of shuttered concrete (pebbles from the beach with big gaps between). There is an extension on the side of one of the walls that is leaking. I have replaced the lead flashing with new but it seems that where I pointed the flashing water is seaping through the cement and behind the lead and dripping down the inside of the extension wall (I think). I have painted with ordinary masonry paint over the pointing but can anyone advise how I can waterproof it properly (something I can paint on or should I have put something into the mortar to waterproof it etc.) The water only comes in when the rain is very heavy and when the wind is blowing it onto the wall.
Many thanks.
Tim.
