i dont think i can anwere your question, but have you considered;

if you insulate teh external of your house

you may need planning due to the change of materials, ask the local planning department duty officer.

you will impeded teh natural ventilation you currently have through teh stone walls, so will need to ensure you remove moisture created by cooking, drying laundry, showers, breathing,

the roof may not project far enough.

the house will be bigger than next door and there will be a step in teh front elevation

the place where you stop the insulation externally will be where teh damp/mould begins

you dont want to bridge the dpc, hence you may get damp along teh bottom of all walls

if you insulate the inside of the house you will have
some of the probelms above
need to redecorate teh entire house
will have damp probelms at the floors where the insulation stops
the rooms will be smaller

maybe move house?
put the heating on higher
use a dehumidifier to remove the dampness, as mold grows due to a warm damp environment
