Chimney breast ventilation

by whitehart » Mon Apr 09, 2012 7:04 pm

hi all, i wasnt sure where to post, but here goes.

my chimey breasts where completely bricked up i have since removed but have been told they need to be ventilated, i have fitted pepper pots to chimney but how/what do i use to ventilate the hole at the bottom of the flue??

i want to leave them open and make a feature, possibly install stove in the future.

thanks in advance.

its already vented if you have removed the brickwork,But if you want to use a logburner then the pot needs to be changed, and sweep the chimney flue
