My cold water in kitchen has ceased to run,at one point when I turned it on it trickled out & the more I turned the tap the water trickled less until there was othing,now I turn the tap on & there is no water coming out at all...its a mixer tap by the way.Can anyone help please?

Sounds to me like your jumpers stuck. You could try opening the tap and giving it a whack. Also try warming the tap up by pouring very hot water over the tap body and then give it a whack. If that gives no joy then have it appart.
