lights permanently on ??

by andy29764 » Wed Jul 25, 2007 7:06 pm

have just changed a light fitting and now the lights are permanently on when switching, what is wrong ???

both incoming earths are together and wired to fitting.
both red live wires are looped together in a connection block.
one neutral is wired to the neutral side of light.
other neutral with red sleeve is wired to live side of fitting.

at switch, red live is common, and neutral is wired to L1
