Shed guttering

by paulz » Mon Aug 13, 2012 9:12 am

We have an all steel bolt together shed like this one
[ http://www.shedbaron.co.uk/largeimage.a ... &ImageNo=1 ] it's sitting on concrete paving slabs, problem is the guttering or lack of.

The supplied gutter is more of a thin U shaped gully to neaten up the bottom edge of the ridged sheeting. It blocks easily and the water runs off all the way along.

If I want to add conventional guttering either side, am I best off screwing a wooden strip inside and out, to fix the gutter to ? or is there any easier way around this? Thanks all

paulz,
Cut some lengths of ply the same tickness as the corrugations in the steel section.
Cut the lengths into 150/200mm lengths and screw these onto the outside of the shed using screws from inside.
You'll then have a sound base for fitting conventional gutter brackets.
end
