Remonving a fence panel

by waz1 » Wed Jul 25, 2007 1:06 pm

Hi there,

I want to remove a fence panel from a post and reset it, as it has been fiitted on an angle.

What is the best approach to removing the nails to release the panel without having to hack the panel to bits?

Thanks

Use a pry bar to open a gap between the post and panel, then use a reciprocating saw to cut through the nails. If you dont have this tool then a hack saw will do the job. If the posts are laid out at the right distance you can allways replace the nails with panel clips and use screws to re-fix. the clips are available at most diy stores .
