what to do with new plaster

Hi All

i have recently had two rooms plastered, can i paint straight onto the plaster or do i need to put a base coat on first??

paint a pva solution on the walls first.

You only seal with PVA if you're going to use oil based paint as the finish. If you're going to use water based emulsion - just use a cheap white emulsion first.
