Painting on newly rendered porch

by Sandy83 » Sat Apr 06, 2013 8:32 pm

Hello Everyone

Firstly apologies if this has been posted before!

I had the inside of my porch rendered it was previously bare brick but I wanted a smooth finish so had it rendered. I now want to paint it in a white colour what paint can I use? As it is the inside of my porch do I need to use an exterior paint or can I use a one coat emulsion? Will I need a primer? As I will be doing it myself I want it to be straightforward as possible!

Please advise

Many thanks

Sandy

You could use emulsion, but personally I would use white masonry paint
