I have to do some emulsioning, and the colour chosen by my wife is made by Leyland. Anyone used their paints, are they ok?

Leyland make professional-quality paint so you should be fine with their brand. Don't forget that many manufacturers with mix paint to your desired colour too, so make sure you are buying the correct paint for the job you are doing.
