i painted my walls in silk emulsion and had lots of patchs on the wall so changed mind and repained in matt but the paint has cracked like a mosaic i has actually took a week to do this i also have another poblem in my hallway i painted silk and in living room painted matt i noticed tat the walls in the hallway had like a white discolour to them so wiped with clean wet cloth water only on cloth but while wiping the wall it actualy started going soapy please any ideas

Have you painted on newly construct a wall or it has already a paint on it? It happened when we have put the proper wall ceiling before painting so it happened due to that reason only. You just better contact with the professional painter he will fix this issue.
