Concrete lintel on single skin wall

Hi
Building a Single skin Block wall for Porch, (No space for double) can I use concrete Lintels for Door and Window and if so what insulation above them, thanks.

if your using 100mm wide blocks you can use 100mm wide pre-stressed concrete lintols.
If your using face bricks and the lintol is on show then you need to use 100mm wide angle iron 8mm thick. Unsure of what you mean by insulation above? its up to you either fiberglass or a solid board insulation like kingspan

Thanks for the info, again, sorry, I meant dpc on top of the lintel, not insulation,

no you don't need dpc, you only need it as a damp tray if the wall is 2 brick skins wide with a cavity,
