What order to do things in?

by lyangee » Fri May 17, 2013 11:12 am

Looking for advice on the order of proceeding with DIY. In the same room, I need to do :
Floors
Sand floors
Stain floors

Walls
Take skirting boards
Plaster walls
Paint walls
Put new skirting boards

Ceiling
Remove wallpaper from ceiling
Plaster ceiling
Paint ceiling

Fireplace
Remove old fireplace
Install new fireplace
Replace stone hearth

What order do I do it all in?

Thanks

Wouldn't you want to plaster ceiling and walls at the same time?

to plaster a whole room in a day, takes a lot of effort so take 1 step at a time
