Leaking Low Pitch Roof - How To Trace The Leak Source?

by roger196 » Tue Nov 05, 2013 11:24 am

There is a low pitch (twenty degrees) concrete tile roof over my kitchen extension. When it rains, especially when it is windy, water is coming through along a vertical line. This vertical line roughly follows a rainwater downpipe which goes across the roof. There is no access to the roof space. Suggestions on identifying the source of the leak and possible repair methods welcomed.
Thanks

you could use a hosepipe on the roof to see where the problem is, I suggest spraying the roof with a clear silicone solution to seal the tiles.
