Levelling Compound Removal From Quarry Tiled Floor

by Bluto » Thu Jan 16, 2014 12:55 pm

Hello, my living room floor is black and red quarry tiles. Approximately 75% are clean and in good condition. Unfortunately, years ago, some bright spark used a levelling compound over the remainder. Much of it has deteriorated and come off with age but can anyone recommend a solution / chemical to remove it that won't harm the tiles.

Its very hard to remove, without damage its best to try with a paint scraper and a hammer and tap away at it, try and lift it off
