Hi Guys and Galls
The dormer we have is cold in winter and unbelievabley hot in summer, I've looked in the loft space and there is 75mm insulation between the studding some of it has fallen, and the plasterboard isn't foil backed or insulated. Being a larger person I can't fit between the studding and gable end. Also with the entrance to the loft is small I can't imagine it being easy to bring in sheets of insulation. So to those ends, my intention is remove the plasterboard remove insulation. Then fit to the reverse side of the studding polystyrene refill the studding, then insulated plasterboard, or foil backed plasterboard. Questions are how thick polystyrene how to secure to studding. And foil backed or insulated plasterboard. Enormous Thanks in advance.
