Removing paint from ceramic tiles Advice and information on tiling and fixing tiles to a variety of surfaces

The people I bought my house off seem to have used cheap paint with no primer on the tiles that are on the window ledges in kitchen and bathroom.
This is now peeling very badly. What is the best way of removing this paint so I can do the job properly?
