Glass / laminate walk on well cover Information, help and advice on many architecture, self build and design problems and issues

Hello one and all
I'm extending my house over a 50' deep well and want to include a transparent walk on cover - can anyone recommend a firm to get the glass from? I have found a firm that will make a standard size cover to hold the glass and have been advised it requires to be 32mm laminate as a minimum but I am finding the price a little surprising (in the range of £1k).

Currently I am going for 660mmx510mm (the 'standard size' I mentioned before), but can alter this to suit - I know the frame is going to be considerably cheaper than the glass!
Any info appreciated

You can check online There are enough options available. But I too appreciate this suggestion. Thanks for sharing.
