Part F - Wet Rooms - do you have to fit trickle vents?

Hi - I have read through the Part F of the Building Regulations and also looked at the GGF guidance for replacment windows.
My question is under new build do you have to fit windows with trickle vents to comply for the regulations? Or will an extractor fan on it's own comply.
