Badly Installed Glass Shower Door - How to Prevent Shattering? Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

Our frame-less glass shower door has been installed at an angle (wall is 86 degrees and they installed it flush against wall) so that one bottom corner is ~2 cm above the tub and the other bottom corner of the glass is smashed up against the tub. The last time they installed it that way the glass spontaneously shattered within a year when the room heated up. Is having the weight of the entire glass on one corner going to cause it to shatter again?

If I use bomb blast film on it to prevent anyone getting hurt the next time it shatters, should I apply it to both sides?

Any help would be appreciated. I'm literally petrified of that room right now.

the shower screen will be toughened glass so if it shatters it wont cut you.
the screen is attached to the wall with screws, they need to be loosened and packed behind them with plastic packers to straighten the glass screen, then screwed back to the wall, any gap left can be covered with silicone or a plastic trim
