I am in the process of stripping wallpaper from walls and have found that the previous owners have for some reason attached thin sheets of styrofoam to the chimney breast and then papered over. I have already bought 'paste to wall' wallpaper and would like to know if this will stick to the foam without me having to remove it all. Thanks for any advice.

Hi. Yu can only find this out by testing an area by sticking something to it however it might be as wellto note that this type of wall insulation is not used any more because of the fire hazard it creates,.
