Too expensive to ReRender Any Masonry Paint to Stop Water Penetrating Walls?

by garerbr » Sun Aug 17, 2014 2:25 pm

Hi all, I need some advice please.

I recently found out the cost of re-rendering the outside of my house and unfortunately its a out of my budget. Does anyone know of any masonry paint that would prevent water from penetrating the walls?

Thank you :)

A cheap way of painting and waterproofing, is limewashing the walls, the lime will absorb water to a certain extent, preventing moisture from penetrating through the wall, its not 100% waterproof but it can help
