Yes but there are problems. I tried using 12 volt and current was too high so I would say aim for 24 or 48 volt.
The current is still very high with no losses with 10A and 230V you are looking at 96A at 24V to draw that power the battery would need to be around the 350 Ah mark so looking at 4 rather large batteries one would be far too heavy to carry.
The cost of batteries and inverter would be far higher than using a generator so in real terms just not worth it buying a generator is a better option.
