Advice Needed About Damp Appearing Above Window

by ginger_man666 » Thu Jan 01, 2015 3:38 pm

Hi everyone,

I need some advice on some damp that has appeared above one of my windows. It improved over the summer but since the rain during this winter the damp has become worse.

the damp tray has failed or was not installed, this is a plastic sheet that is installed above a window or door in the wall to divert any water that penetrates the outer skin of the wall and diverts it to the outside.
A section of wall needs to be removed above the window, and the damp tray inspected for damage or install a new one

Ok, I was worried it would be that.

Thanks for the information.
