I have a Halstead Eden CBX32 combination boiler which is nearly 10 years old. For the past couple of years it has locked-out frequently - sometimes several times in one day - and the red error light comes on. Engineers have been to look at it and recently we had a new pump and he cleaned the electrodes, but it is still happening. The radiators get hot all over so it doesn't seem as if there is a problem with sludge. Can anyone suggest what is causing the problem - I can't call Halstead for advice as I have been told that they have gone out of business. I am tearing my hair out with this problem!
