I have just taken over a buy-to-let flat. Hot water is from an immersion heater. Cold water pressure is about 3 bar, but hot water pressure, after a brief spurt, is feeble and realistically unusable. A plumber looked it and replaced a valve in the pipework but it has made no difference and he now has no ideas as to here the problem lies. It is an old system. Would a new cylinder solve the problem? Any other thoughts greatly appreciated.
