Hi,

I have a Black and Decker KD975 SDS Hammer Drill that has started generating sparks during use. I have tried to capture it in a picture:

There is also a loss of power.

Believe it or not I bought it just over two years ago (3rd March 2013) and it has a two year warranty.

I don't know for certain which is why I wanted someone else's opinion but due the brushes wear our during use so replacing the brushes would sort it out or could it be something else?

Sounds like brushes. Tend to ware out faster in really dusty conditions.
