What is the Best Type of Wood to use for Decking in the Garden? Ask questions and find answers on all your decking problems and issues

I am hoping to complete a decking project in my garden and was wondering if anyone could advise what is the best type of wood to use?

There are many good woods to use but are just not viable because of price. A good Pressure Treated 25-28mm decking timber is good at around £2 per meter.
It more expensive, but Composite Decking Boards are a lot less maintenance over time & look just like wood.
