I know this has been asked before in many forms, but here goes again.
I’m running cold water, hot water and gas beneath my kitchen floor (2 meter run). I currently have the concrete up as previous owner had run gas copper pipe just buried in the concrete (shocking).
Anyhow, I therefore want to run four individual 15mm pipes beneath the floor. Floor will be tiled when complete.

I understand that the pipes should be in a duct and be accessible.
I can do this, but it’s not so easy to have a duct where all 4 pipes are accessible and I don’t want the entire floor with lots of ducts etc.

So, assuming I limit the amount of joints etc, isn’t it OK to wrap the pipes in Denso tape and bury at the bottom of the concrete floor (5â€

You can bury pipes in concrete as long as they're protected against corrosion, denso tape will be fine for the water pipes.

The gas pipe should be factory coated (yellow) and have no joins or fittings underground, keeping the gas pipe in a duct would be handy, but gas pipes can be buried in concrete too.

Minimum depth 375mm below open ground and drives.

Minimum depth 40mm for copper or steel within concrete floor with pedestrian traffic.
