Crack that Appears to be Following Curve of Ceiling Rose

by nickhopkins07 » Thu Jun 04, 2015 3:45 pm

Good afternoon,

Firstly I hope I've put this in the right forum?

We've got a crack that appears to be following the curve of a ceiling rose in our front room, it's slowly creeping around and widening where it already is.

Is this common? I appreciate it's not easy to answer on here, but could it be a serious problem? I have visions of the crack making it's way all the way around, and the rose falling down!

Many thanks

Nick

Hi Nick

Not really possible to say without knowing what was used to fix the rose, or what the ceiling is made of. If you can get access above, you'd get a better idea of what is going on.
