Hi
We got a brand new Belling 90cm Dual Fuel cooker installed on Monday. All in fine and working well. Didn't use it that much but was perfectly fine. Then randomly yesterday whilst not in use (hadn't been used since the previous evening) in the middle of the day it tripped the RCD for half of the house.
By turning off the cooker at the cooker switch we have been able to reinstate all of the circuits except the cooker one. Bizarrely even if the cooker circuit is off on the RCD, it still trips the other half of the circuit if I turn on the cooker switch.
If anyone has any idea why this would be that would be great. Not sure whether it's just not been wired in properly, or whether the oven is faulty despite being a couple days old.
Cheers
