Do I need permission to build a fence there ideally 5/6 foot would be nice and some gates at the front. I was going to talk to the neighbour over the party wall and get some extra posts and fence panels added but it seems like a lot of hassle and paper work and hes not the best bloke to get a long with.
So I was looking into just repointing and repairing my side, and then adding a brand new stand alone fence on my side of the wall (transit van side) at 5/6 foot but I don't think I can legally?
This is currently 3.2 foot, so i have been told I can possibly get away with a fence panel at 4 foot (just higher than 1m) and then a open board on top so I'd add framed trellis giving me 5 foot fence (ish) and add some 3/4 foot gates on the front?
Can anyone give me some advice / help.
