Primer/undercoat not drying on internal door

Post by nixinoo1 » Sun Sep 27, 2020 5:49 pm

Help! I wanted to paint my interior front door. Sanded it down and then used a primer/undercoat in one. The quality was awful and more than 24 hours later it’s still tacky and sticky. I don’t know what to do next. Any ideas?

The humidity in the air is causing an issue with the paint curing. Install a dehumidifier, close all doors and windows in that room and you should find over the next 24 hours your floor will dry out.
