Radiator not working

by Dilhan » Tue Jan 27, 2009 4:10 pm

Hi

One of the radiators in my house is not working for some reason.
All the other radiators in the house are working fine.
I have tried bleeding it and of course opening the valves.
Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks

Dilhan

Hi Dilhan,

Has the rad got a TRV on it ?

If so the pin is stuck - take TRV head off, a little wd40, a few light taps with a hammer on the valve body/ pull the pin with pliers but only 2-3mm.

Hth
