regulation thickness for glass in a front door

hi,putting round coloured glass circles in a front door 250/160/120 mm diameter, they are all above 1.5m in height,how thick does this glass have to be? can it be 4mm with safety film.? cheers

uk regulations state that glass in doors are to be toughened or laminated regardless of height so if its going to be laminated its ok
